Open the “ MacOS” folder the see the actual MyEclipse executable, myeclipse. Open this folder to see various subfolders, which comprise the MyEclipse application.
To see the contents of the application, right click on the entry (“ MyEclipse 2017“) and select “Show Package Contents”. An application can be made up of many files and folders. The main item in the folder is the “ MyEclipse 2017” application.Ī Mac application is not simply an executable file. There is also an uninstall application – double-click to uninstall MyEclipse. Within that installation folder, you will find a drop-ins folder which can be used as a standard eclipse drop-ins folder for installing some plug-ins. For other MyEclipse streams, the application folder might have a slightly different default name. The default location for the installation is “ /Applications/MyEclipse 2017“, if you changed this at installation time, please adjust this information appropriately.
